Chelsea beat nine-man Spurs to end poor run
Tottenham lose third straight Premier League game
Chelsea beat Tottenham 4-1 in a fiery London derby on Sunday, with the visitors reduced to nine men in the first half.
Spurs were down to nine men after Cristian Romero was sent off for a second yellow card in the 86th minute and Harry Kane was shown a straight red card for a challenge on Thiago Silva in the 90th minute.
Chelsea took the lead through Hakim Ziyech in the 47th minute, but Tottenham equalised through Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg in the 68th minute.
Chelsea then took the lead for good through Timo Werner in the 85th minute, before Mason Mount and Kai Havertz added further goals in the 90th and 90+3 minutes.
The result ended a poor run of form for Chelsea, who had lost their last two Premier League games.
It was also a disappointing result for Tottenham, who have now lost three Premier League games in a row.
